Lightning photogrpahy ...... when its too stormy to fish !
It isn't very often that when Ihave a spare five minutes, that I don't grab a rod and head down the river either for a Fly Fish or to practice my casting.
However this particular evening I could hear the rumble of thunder in the distance, a quick check of the weather showed me that some severe thunderstorm activity was about to come my way.
Now as a Fly Fisherman standing knee deep in water and waving nine foot of Graphite around didn't seem that smart to me on this particular evening.
So I setup the camera on my front lawn and waited for the storm to roll in.
These are just some of the images that I took.
